She tilted her head as she watched his hand move out in between them. She pursed her lips,when she remembered. ‘Oh,I forgot. Humans greet each other like this. It’s been several years since i’ve encountered a human,though.’ she thought to herself.
She slowly took his hand,shaking it gently. “A knight?” she questioned,humming to herself after that. “Ah,I remember.” She was just forgetting everything,was she? She pulled her hand away,when her ears twitched at hearing him say he didn’t want to be one. “People shouldn’t push eachother into things they do not wish to do. It’s foolish.” she said,folding her arms.
“..What are you doing here,boy?” she asked him,tapping her foot on the ground softly.
Well, she certainly wasn’t going to eat him now, that’s for sure. …Unless she was going to save him for dessert, that is. Regardless, Link grinned once he felt the other’s fingers carefully wrap around his hand, giving her a firm handshake before pulling away.
“Yeah… I’m kinda getting forced to do it,” he began, shrugging. “After I saved the princess and everything, she told me that I should develop my sword skills. So she put me in training. Problem is that I wanna work with my folks… I wanna make swords, not use them…”
Link blinked a few times at the demoness’ question. “Erm… I dunno. Just… milling about, really. Thinking. Erm… really I’m just thinking about a friend is all.”
