As he spoke it almost sounded as if he was reassuring her. ‘How sweet is that?' she laughed to herself. At his last words, she turned over her shoulder to look at him. A sizable grin stretched over her face as they landed, and she chuckled. “Wanna try then?”
The elder hopped down from the great being’s soft feathers and looked into the creature’s eyes for a moment. The two seemed to share a wordless conversation, before the she turned back to the boy.

Wait a second, was Link hearing things or did the other Link actually say he could ride her Loftwing by himself? Did he forget to clean his ears that morning? He always had to be reminded to do that anyway…
“Is… is that okay? I mean…” The youth bit his lip, remembering just how wild of a ride the last one was. “Is it safe?”

“Hahah, sorry about that. I got a bit caught up in the moment I guess.” she apologized, scanning the area for a seemingly good place to land. “I wanted to see how much it would take to scare you."
Though that was only true a little bit. She had felt herself becoming unhappy and it seems that she had panicked a bit. Taking as much action to boggle her own mind as she could, she ended up probably scarring the boy from ever riding a loftwing again. Poor Link seemed to have taken the brunt of it entirely. She’d find a way to properly apologize eventually.

"We-well, I might spend a lot of my time running around scary places, but spinning around like that in the sky was just…” The blond shivered. “Really though, it’s fine! You said you were a pro, and I didn’t fall off. Everything’s fine!”
At least it wasn’t someone like, say, Ravio riding that thing. He’d probably wet himself before even getting on! Link giggled at the thought, knowing that his dear friend probably wouldn’t have taken that risk at all.
“I really wouldn’t mind riding one of these myself…"

“HYAH!” With a quick sideways movement, she sent them spinning forward, tearing through many of the clouds in their path. After the loftwing stopped spinning, she did it again. And again. And again. By the time she’d finally had enough, she was in a fit of laughter. “Still got your head back there?” She chuckled, slowing the bird back to its regular glide.

“Uwah… th-there’s… five of you now…?” he groaned, head tossing round and back as he tried to get out of his daze. All of the screaming he did before really did a number on his throat as well.
“…Why’d you do that?! I-I mean it was fun I guess, but wa-warn me next time!!"

She nodded, her smile fading a little bit. “I guess they don’t exist anymore when you live, huh?” She looked down and smiled at her friend, patting his head delicately for a moment before returning her gaze upwards. A mischievous glimmer sparkled through her eyes.
“…Hang on tight, Link!” She yelled, leaning her body downwards and quickly pulling it up. The loftwing followed her movements, soaring upwards at an unreal speed.

“Nah, I guess they don’t-” The youth didn’t have time to finish his sentence, as only moments later the girl screamed… something… leaned forward and sent the two to death-defying heights.
“WAIT ST-STOOOOOOOOOP-!!” He screeched, gripping the other around the waist. “SWEET GODDESSES ABOVE-!!"

She felt a smile tug at the corner of her lips as she closed her eyes, allowing the breeze to carry them swiftly through the air. “Having fun?” She asked, quite contented herself.
She had developed a love for hearing the sound of the rustling trees below her. They were very very far above them by now, but if you listened just close enough you could still catch the subtle melody of the wind tussling around their leaves. Peeking over her shoulder at the boy’s amazed expression, she felt her smile rise a bit higher.

“Yeah, tons!” Link definitely wasn’t lying about it, either. The wind against his face, hair all about… it was a wonderful sensation like no other. He could get used to this, actually!
For some odd reason, a thought crossed his mind, one of Sheerow being much larger than his little self, carrying him and his master through the skies just like the Loftwing. The blond giggled before removing himself from the idea and back to the present.
“To think that these things existed so long ago…"

[wwhat a cutie omg<3]
(( OH GOSHERS STAHP XD thankies~ ))
She giggled a bit at his flustered tone. “Relax your muscles and don’t think about falling.” She slowed the pace just enough for him to steady himself. “I’m a pro, I won’t let you fall.”

Swallowing any and all fear he had at the moment, Link attempted to steady himself against the Loftwing and the elder girl. He could feel himself start to relax, but that was only because he had his eyes closed.
One would think that he wouldn’t be afraid, given that he had ridden on Irene, his witch friend’s broom. However… they never rode higher than the tallest tree, really only enough to fly past monsters. The Loftwing was way, way higher than he had ever been before.
Taking in a deep breath, he opened his eyes once more and peered around. What he saw amazed him.

“Wow! It’s like… it’s like I could touch the clouds! We’re so close!”

“Wouldn’t dream of it!” She laughed, gripping his hand tightly and yanking him up beside her. “Hold on tight, okay?”
Without a second warning, she drew her body back and nodded to the bird.
They three launched into flight, first heading straight ahead and eventually leaning upwards until they were far above the trees.

He didn’t need to be told twice! Link quickly wrapped his arms around the older girl, pressing into her just so that he wouldn’t fall off.
As they took off, Link couldn’t help but let out a sharp gasp and perhaps a little scream or two before getting… sort of used to the whole situation.
Far above the trees now, Link didn’t dare to look down. Not at all!
“O-oh Goddesses we-we’re really really hi-high up!"

[[THAT’S FROM THAT ONE PICTURE OMG
(( XD my friend awakeningseasonspast gave it to me to use so I have no idea what it’s from but yeeeeeeah pronz is good expression fodder ))
She hummed proudly as she ran a hand over the large bird’s bill. “Yup! Loftwings are said to be legendary creatures who once served the goddess herself, but if you ask me this guy’s just a big dork!”
Link laughed a bit as the bird shoved her playfully. Finding her grip on his feathers, she lifted herself up onto him. “You wanna join me or are you getting cold feet?” She laughed, extending her arm down to the boy.

The goddess? Wait… weren’t there three goddesses? Perhaps there was more to this Link than he thought…
“A-ah… su-sure…!” The blond replied a little shakily, quickly shoving his his hand just far enough to grab onto the older girl’s.
“Just uh… d-don’t let me f-fall or anything!"
